Time: 0900 - 1500

Why are we here?

Seasonal orientation training for both new and experienced workers is an important part of a good safety management program;

At Loki Tree we are all about safety.

This also provides us a good opportunity to get to know our crews and allows you the opportunity to ask any burning questions, which we know you all have.

Please come prepared with all of the wildfire equipment you intend to bring with you on deployment.

What to expect:

Classroom:

  • Uniform and Comportment

  • Crew Deployment Rotation

  • Camp Life and Trucks

  • Radios and Equipment

  • Commissary

  • Travel and Standby

  • Emergency Response and Briefings

Field Practical:

  • Pump and Hose practice

  • Uniform Sizing

  • Equipment Inspection

Prizes and Incentives:

  • People who attend this training will have first crack at early fire crew positions

  • We have prepared some valuable draw-prize give-aways for those who make the effort.
