BCWS Crews

Thank you for joining us - the extra horsepower is much appreciated.

Crew #1

Central Windthrow Area

  • Power Saw Operators are required in this area to process bound and windthrown logs into suitable lengths for log truck.

  • Swampers and draggers will be required to move material to loading areas.

  • Loki crews will bring wood-chipper around and BCWS crews will aid in chipping and processing debris.

Crew #2

Back-End Corridors

  • Power Saw Operators, swampers, and hook tenders will be required in this area to help process logs and forest debris into firewood, as well as drag and pile for chokers.

  • Material will be winched, dragged, and staged for chipping and decking.

  • As many or 2 or 3 crews can operate simulatenously in these corridors.

Crew #3

Falling Crew

  • If available, a BCWS Faller pair can be provided a Falling Area to aid in the removal of hung up trees and hazard trees.

  • Faller tutor is available for reporting.
