Shift Details

  • September 23, 2026 and September 24, 2026

  • Travel rate from point-of-hire

  • Regular day on-site

  • Accommodation provided in Kaslo / LOA eligible

  • Submit expense reports for fuel

Project Duration

  • 1 to 2 days

Transport Plan

  • Michael and Aidan will be travelling from Revelstoke. Suggest departing at 06:15 to be on 07:00 Ferry. Travelling in Aidan’s truck or Michael’s bus or both.

  • Jasper and Auri will meet at Queens Bay yard at 0800 to load the rig. Departing yard at 08:30. Travelling with dump truck / chipper.

  • Jake and Galen will be travelling on their own - Jake stopping enroute at another work site. Galen tentative.

Accommodation Arrangements

  • Revelstoke crew will have option of staying at Kaslo Motel - rooms are booked under ‘Loki’

  • Kootenay Lake crew commuting from home

Meeting Location

  • All crew will meet here at 09:30 (follow link for google maps pin)

  • (It is the turn-off from Highway 31 that takes you to the communities of Argenta, Johnson’s Landing, Birchdale, etc).

  • Everyone is coming from far away and there is no cell reception. Timing will be approximate.

What to Bring:

  • Recommend extra dry clothes for end of day

  • We will have spare stuff to help ensure new folks are set up.

  • Arborists should ensure they bring personal equipment, climbing gear, and supplies for inspection.
