In back areas, where no chipper access is possible, there is no choice but to pile for later burning

In the back, where burning is necessary, material from between the corridors was piled in the corridors, leaving a finished product behind.

In all corridors, material was dragged, hauled, yarded, and winched to areas where the dump trailer and chipper could access, to the extent possible. The rest was piled for burning.

In areas of significant wind-throw or hazard in the canopy, we focused on the heavy work first. There is still some final clean up in these areas.

A one-day patrol is planned to make sure we catch this type of thing. This stump will be bucked flush

In most areas, the last firewood is already decked for forwarding. This is an example of one last area that still needs skidding.

During the final patrol, future hazards and broken stems will be dealt with.

We have a budget set aside for the final clean-up at the landing area. This is the biggest challenge still to be addressed, as we have yet to find a supplier for the heavy hauling.

This is the western-most falling corridor, which is the only slash-filled corridor we were unable to get to.

This is an example of the wind-throw stands that continued to accumulate throughout our time on this project. We were able to complete 90% of this work, with this wall on the far west side left incomplete.
