Medical Evacuation Procedure
Work Plan:
1. Danger Tree Assessment and Falling
Site assessment overview and documentation.
Removal of standing timber adjacent piles where necessary.
2. Green Guarding and Fire Suppression Set-up
Power saw operators and swampers working to provide prep work for each pile.
Hoselay and sprinker design, set-up, and testing.
3. Await Atmospheric Conditions
Prep work to occur during drying window; Site conditions to be monitored continuously throughout this period.
Crew on standby for conditions conducive to ignition.
Burning activities to occur during precipitation event or night-shift (as required and as venting conditions allow).
4. Burning Activities
Fire suppression apparatus in place and active wetting of green areas in advance.
Burn Plan in place to ensure pile ignition is appropriate to conditions and operation is conducted within SWP for Commercial Ignition and Pile Burning Activities.
5. Mop-up and Monitoring Activities
